LOGGING YOU IN . . .
KAMPFF week two

Once you manage to get into your room, you'll notice that AL-2955 is waiting for you. She appears in the corner from her statue. She implores you to head towards the chapel, where three others await you.

[What's the point in even hesitating? They're going to end up here anyway.

So Tsukuyo goes right ahead and to the chapel, and there she leans against the wall, arms crossed and eyes closed. QUITE FRANKLY, she's not entirely happy about how that whole shindig went down.]

...That was fast.

[DOWN BY ONE ALREADY.]

[ When Jack shows up, he takes a lazy, languid seat in one of the pews, and he's definitely eating a bag of pretzels during their meeting. He's definitely keeping a stock in his room because they're his snack of choice. Don't judge. When Tsukuyo speaks, he nods in agreement, then points one of the pretzel sticks her way, but that's just an extension of Jack's penchant for gesturing. ]

No kidding. I mean, seriously? First blood? Godddd, that's so embarrassing.

[ There's a pause as he eats that pretzel in hand, but don't worry, it's quickly replaced by another. ]

I expect way better from the rest of you. For the record. I mean, come on, she didn't even die hilariously or murder anyone hilariously.

Noted.

[It's painfully embarrassing, and it means...what, they're all treading thin ice with regards to their rewards and also their punishments.]

I'll be sure to murder someone hilariously next time something like this happens.

That's the spirit! I mean, hell, if you're going to put your life on the line murdering someone? Might as well have a good time with it, so far as I'm concerned.

[ AKA don't listen to Jack or take his advice, since you'll probably end up super dead. But. Luckily everyone is fairly reasonable and knows well enough to just ignore his crazy bloodlust. ]

So, y'know, I have been thinking about our little task here, and we should probably be prepared in case we really need to step up? A rushed murder plan is— Okay, well, it's pretty great actually since it's- it's usually way more in the moment. But, yeah, not really ideal here. If we want to do this and be successful, then we should probably each have a little plan and pick it apart.

[ Jack smiles and shrugs ]

Nothing specific, since ruining the surprise would suck. But a little peer review wouldn't hurt.

Nah.

[That response comes pretty quickly, even as she shakes her head.]

It'd ruin the surprise. Also, if I have to kill you, it'd ruin that too.

You'd kill the chief and cut our numbers down even further? Now that's cruel, even for us.

[the less of them there were, the harder it would be to plan things out. perhaps they can't help each other with murders in the traditional way, but there was no rule against going over ideas, dropping vague hints, and generally knowing the others might cling to their own enough to fight for them in trial.]

Not that cruel is such a bad thing.

Hm.

[She doesn't seem all too bothered by the idea, honestly.]

You're not bad, but I don't see why I should trust this guy. [fucking jack]
