Personality: Two to three paragraphs about your character. We aren't looking for surface level stuff here like "they're friendly and nice", but how they operate, what has shaped them, their motivations, important events that made them who they are, their 'circumstances', and psyche. Please note that we are necessarily 'judging' this section; on the contrary, it's mostly in place for reference and placing characters into specific roles.
Abilities: Please list any and all abilities, skills, or talents the character has, from normal things such as sword fighting and programming to magical or unique things such as witchcraft and super speed. Note that most supernatural powers will be dampened to 40% strength, and particularly overpowered or game breaking powers may be taken away entirely. We ask that you be as exhaustive as possible in this list, and anything not listed will not be viable to use in game!
Suitability: This is only for characters who are not completely human as well as characters under the age of 18. For non-humans, make a case for them; must demonstrate their sense of humanity and free will. For characters that are minors, we would like an explanation for why they are a good fit for the game. For example, characters like Ema Skye from Ace Attorney or Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4 would be a fine fit despite their young age due to the mature nature of their canons, but a character like Honoka Kosaka from Love Live or Kuroko Tetsuya from Kuroko no Basuke would need an ample case here due to their young age and lighthearted nature of their canons.
Alignment: Where does your character fall morally? This will influence how your character will be utilized, as well as a way to potentially attribute them a role. Note that the alignment isn't a direct link to this, however; just because your character is chaotic evil, for example, does not mean they are guaranteed to have a destructive role.
Motivations: Please describe things/people/goals of importance to your character and motivations that might inspire them to kill. Be creative – it should be possible to create a motivation for almost any character. If there are absolutely no circumstances where your character would kill someone else, please describe why they are suited for a game like this, how they will react to the game, and what they will bring to the game. Please be detailed in this section.
Are you willing to have a third party role?: These roles will have their own goals separate from the village and mafia and will operate mostly alone. Their goal must be achieved as the game progresses. they will require a higher level of activity than other characters for plot purposes!

Canon: Dragon Age

Canon Description: Dragon Age: Origins takes place in a world called Thedas where magic, dwarves, elves, and other crazy stuff exists. The plot of origins concerns a group of individuals known as grey wardens who are charged with defending the land from Darkspawn, which are basically magical zombies. The main character is a newly recruited warden who is branded a heretic when the king of Ferelden's most trusted confidant betrays him in combat, resulting in his death. The warden then must do their best to recruit a small army to defeat the impending blight of Darkspawn. Morrigan is an apostate mage, or illegal magic user, who lives with her mother in the Korcari Wilds. She is recruited early on in the narrative by the Warden to assist in their plight against the Darkspawn.
Personality:
Meeting Morrigan makes it immediately apparent how bizarre she is compared to the rest of Thedas. A girl donning strange, revealing clothes who lives in the forest, in comparison to the restrained folk that inhabit the rest of Denerim, certainly serves as a shocker to the Grey Warden and company. It's easy to see why Alistair quickly jumps to the conclusion that she is a fabled 'Witch of the Wilds', an apostate, or illegal mage, that supposedly kidnaps children and preys upon them. To be honest, Alistair is not too far off the mark. Morrigan is an apostate mage, and her mother, Flemeth, is the supposed 'Witch of the Wilds' of legend. Morrigan is a rare breed in many ways; from her unorthodox views on magic, to her atheistic comments about the Maker, to her morbid tendency to find joy in chaos and carnage.
It's obvious that Morrigan's viewpoint on many issues is influenced and shaped by the environment she was raised in. 'Nature is, by its nature, chaotic', she notes. Because of this, she adopts a Darwinistic view on human affairs, noting that 'power' and 'survival' are what matter, and other, fickle things quickly fade. 'Love' and 'beauty' are pointless things that, in the end, only serve as weaknesses. The strong survive, and the weak die, and she is perfectly content with that. Despite this, Morrigan does have her rare moments where she shows weakness. She details a story from her childhood, when she first forayed into a human village, and describes how she was enthralled by a woman and her carriage. It 'must have been what true wealth and beauty was', she claims. Stealing a hand mirror, she scurries back to her hut, where her mother waited in fury. She breaks the mirror and tells her to never again bother with frivolous baubles like it again. Morrigan was naturally heartbroken, but she tells the Warden that it made her stronger. That she was foolish for taking interest in the mirror.
Abilities: Morrigan is a mage of considerable talent, and one who was never taught formally in a circle of magi. Due to this, her magic differs from magic by those taught in circles, and she has access to abilities most do not; her most notable skill is being able to shapeshift, and has shown affinity for dog, bear, giant spider, insect swarm, and crow forms. Beyond this, she can use magic any other mage in the game can use, read here. For simplicity's sake, since she starts out with skills in the primal and entropy trees, I'll say she has access to just those and shapeshifter spells.
Suitability: N/A
Alignment: Morrigan could best be described as Chaotic Neutral. She cares little for the party's actual quest, and is only a 'companion' nominally. Additionally, she approves of chaotic actions the warden can take, such as threatening a Revered Mother (basically a nun) to release someone accused of murdering a family. She has her own goals separate from the party's goal, a goal that could be described as chaotic, unlawful, or forbidden.
Motivations: Some sort of power. If it would allow her to also do something like prevent her mother from ever finding her. For her son, Kieran. Anyone who would get in the way of her pursuits. If her life was in danger. To get some sort of desirable item. If someone had such a strong conflict with her ideals and opinions or she finds them to be unprideful, such as when she encourages the Warden to annul the circle of magi.
