. . . FURRY PASSING

FURRY PASSING v1.1

Opening up the app prompts a long, long list of links. It stretches on for a long while and it seems like whoever coded this eventually started slipping in some pretty awful jokes, so no one would blame you if you gave up looking into the links. None of them work, anyway, aside from the first two. Helpful.

"This is the beta version. Report all bugs to First Class Private Sanders. If I give a shit I will fix it. Captain Perkins, please stop asking me to finish coding this, it's just a crappy simulation game and I have better things to do like take care of my sick wife. No I will not code a blood stain pattern into your house. Enjoy the game, and hopefully it doesn't break whenever I patch it."

STARTING THE GAME
The Start Screen
Just hit start. It is not that hard. All the datapads are hooked up to the same server so you should be able to see several of your shipmates' avatars running around on the menu if you're so inclined to watch it. If your datapad's new or you just started the game for the first time, you'll need to make a new save file when you're prompted, but otherwise the game should load up easily enough. I made it ridiculously easy for you, so when your start screen's up, and your datapad's new or the game's freshly downloaded, there will be a button to make a new save file. Push it. Congratulations.

Deciding your gender and appearance
I'll let you cheat this but I recommend answering them however you feel most natural. It's not that complicated of a conversation so it's easy to pay attention. You're not that stupid.

Building your house
You walk up to a free spot in the server and hit the build button in the corner. It's a little house icon. It'll prompt you with a premade layout selection but you can build on it later, when you earn enough money in game. The shops are open pretty much as soon as you get in the game but you'll have to get that ca$h before you can drop it.

Naming your house
You just type it in when you arrive on the server. It happens after the conversation above. Name it whatever you want. I don't care. Perkins might talk to you if it's got expletives in it but does it look like I give a shit?

Decorating your house
Ok, so you step out of your little humble abode, you walk north till you get to the train station. Step over the tracks. Go into the mysterious dark hole. You're in the market now. Tah-dah. Several different shops are set up in this district. I'll add onto it. If there's something specific you want, code it yourself, send it to me, and I'll patch it in.

Earning cash
You can buy stuff in game but it requires doing odd jobs around the server. You can always collect trash and pawn it off to one of the shops if you want, but the whole NPC quest bullshit gives you a heavier coin purse a lot quick. Up to you how you play.

Saving the game
Hit the home button at the bottom of the screen. Then tap the big button that says "SAVE." The one in all capitals, yes. I know, this is really hard but you need to keep up.

Other shit
This is honestly super easy and I don't think you need me to explain any more than the above. You'll figure it out. It's literally just a simulation game, it's not rocket science.

Furry Passing is a freeware application that participants may play at their leisure. It functions the same as Nintendo's Animal Crossing, and it seems as though every one of the ship's residents has a house already placed down for them. However, it's possible to move them by tapping on a button with a wrench that appears when standing near the pixel building. The game comes with full chat and text abilities, but it isn't password locked, so anyone who gains access to your datapad would be able to see your chat history.

To chat with someone on the server, approaching their avatar and pulling up the holographic keyboard does the trick. You can also add players to your buddy list, and send messages through the Mailbox, which is delivered once a day by a traveling stork. It is possible to send video and audio clips through the mail system.
