elevator corridor

for a map of this area, please see the sleeping units map.
The elevator hallway is home to several small rooms on each side, each leading to numbered doors from one to forty. This is clearly the living area of the station. At one end, there is a large elevator (sans text). It is currently disabled and cannot be entered. At the opposite end there are two unlocked doors. One leads to a daycare, and the other leads to a small office area.
The Daycare
A short story: One daycare for sale, never used. Despite the fluorescent lighting and the neon colors, there is an empty feeling prevailing over the room once possibly intended for children visited or born on the ship. There are numerous areas to climb, play, or ride, but there are no indications that the room has ever been used. One of the few rooms on the ship with dust, cleaning robots don't seem to enter the room nor does ventilation seem to be present.
The Offices
A small series of desks and chairs that seem to have been used for something once. Pens, pencils, and paper can be found in some of the drawers, but the room is otherwise empty and devoid of any equipment aside from a communication device that seems both connected to the ship and no longer in service. There is also a water cooler and paper cups that is replenished on occasion, making it the perfect place to gossip about your coworkers.
