middle deck

The Pygmalion is a starcraft of state-of-the-art design, possessing a sleek yet cold design that one could describe as 'modern' (for the future, that is). Corridors have a sparse and practical design, with most hallways being only dimly lit in an attempt to conserve whatever power The Pygmalion has left. The ceilings of most of these hallways sit rather low and are only a few people wide. Individual rooms are sealed off with airtight doors, each room being mostly soundproof.
Many rooms seem to have once had some sort of purpose, containing work stations and derelict computers that no longer seem to work. Notably, nearly every room sans corridors have lush, rococo statues, overlaid with the same ergonomic white material lining the rest of the ship, of two women holding up a large jug, facing downward. Throughout the ship a strange insignia can be seen on numerous things from walls to guns to mugs.
Bedrooms are as minimal as you might expect, and they're lined up along a certain wing and sealed off with the same airtight doors typical of any other room on the ship. Within each door is a ladder leading up to the room proper, containing a small shelf-bed, a personal bathroom that requires hand ID clearance to get in, and a small chute in the corner for ordering food straight to your room. Notably, in a discreet corner of each room, the same rococo statue is present. At the end of the wing is an elevator that cannot be accessed currently.

???
This is the room the participants will awaken in. Lining several columns to the ceiling are small bed-shaped pods, each having monitors and interfaces attached that measures several attributes of the respective occupant. The room is rather boring otherwise; there is a small desk in the corner with a small clipboard of short files about the occupants of the pods. The room is notably regulated at a much lower temperature than the rest of the ship.
The Parlor
The parlor is a room made for leisure. There are few lights in the parlor, all of them lining the ceiling to give it a dark ambiance, and there are several tables set up with chairs and two shelved couches set into the wall. There is a minibar in the parlor that comes equipped with several unopened bottles of liquor and well as ten glass tablets on charging stations near the back of the parlor that come loaded with application games, various e-books, and music, and is capable of recording, as well as taking pictures. There is an internet browser loaded onto the tablet as well, but attempting to access it will prove fruitless. To use a tablet, the user must scan their hand to 'check one out', a way to keep track of who has the tablets as well as ensure they are returned. If a patron has had a tablet for over 24 hours, then the tablet will display a notification indicating that it is overdue.
Medical Bay
The medical bay is a state of the art facility that comes with two robot-assisted surgical machines. These machines, however, are in disrepair, the only thing still in operation being the diagnostic machine, a device used to detect illness and other physical ailments such as lacerations on the body or wounded organs. The medical bay also houses a plethora of medicinal items, including medical jelly, a salve used to alleviate pain from burns, cuts, and other wounds, and congealing serum, a rub that contains artificial platelets that allows wounds to heal at ten times their typical healing time. Other typical medical amenities can also be found, such as bandages, gauze, syringes, suture kits, antiseptic, sterile gloves, thermometers, and rubbing alcohol.
The Viewport
A star viewing port that's only apparent purpose is to look out at the expanse of space. There is a command center in the middle of the room that can shutter the windows and obscure the view. The rest of the room is unremarkable, though there a a few couches for relaxing. The view port notably is one of the few rooms other than personal quarters that can be locked from the inside. As of week two, as per Adelina's request, embroidery supplies are available here.
The Cafeteria
The cafeteria is a large room, big enough to fit around fifty people comfortably. There are several tables set up in the room as well as a small staircase that leads up around fifteen feet to a second level with a few more tables. There are small machines set up on tables near the back with tiny cubes labelled as a variety of foods and beverages such as 'miso', 'chicken', 'soy', 'tuna', 'coffee', 'black tea', and others. Placing the cubes into the machine will cause it to dump out something resembling food or a drink. There is also a kitchen area stocked with other sealed and vacuum dried foods that can be accessed, as well as an array of utensils that you would find in a kitchen, such as knives, forks, and spatulas. There is a robot who seems to only be capable of making food all day, so there is always something to eat in the cafeteria.
The Chapel
The chapel is a small area allotted for personal worship. The lights in the chapel are in good shape, creating a high contrast between the more dim and unreliable lights on the rest of the ship. In the chapel is a stand, dead in the middle of the room, and two small chrome pews on opposite ends facing each other and the stand bolted into the floor. If the stand is interacted with, it will bring up an interface allowing the user to retrieve any religious text within the archives. Notably, the chapel does not have the same chalice present in all the other rooms, and if three people occupy the room, then the door locks until they choose to exit.
The Conference Room
The conference room is a large room, enough to fit an entire crew's worth of people — the occupants of the ship may find, though, that the round table in the center of the room has just enough chairs to fit everyone for civil and quiet discussions about courses of action. At the back of the room is a rounded alcove, in which one of the chalice statues hangs precariously from the ceiling. This one, however, is much larger than the others, as if it is the original statue and the rest are merely copies.
The Garden
The garden is the largest room on the middle deck. It has an automatic sprinkler system that goes off at 6 PM every day. Other plants that have special needs such as extra or less watering have separate sprinklers. The lights in the garden are UV and dim at 9 PM to mimic night time. The garden houses several plants, mostly perennial, including herbs like chives, fennel, ginger, lavender, rosemary, sage, and thyme, fruit bushes and trees such as apples, rapsberries, tomatoes, persimmons, blueberries, and grapes, vegetables such as leeks, potatos, asparagus, kale, turnips, sorrel, and yams. There are also several other plants and flowers, like heliotropes, lily of the valley, alchemilla, poison sumac, oleander, sunflowers, gardenias, castorbeans, aloe, belladonna, echinacea, foxglove, moonflowers, and narcissus. There is a small room in the corner of the garden used for storage of various gardening tools, such as plastic tubs, nitrile gloves, a small lawn mower, hoses, a wheelbarrow, several pruners, a shovel, a rake, a weeding scythe, a hedge trimmer, safety glasses, and a pair of golashes. A single conifer tree is positioned close to the edge of the room, with a metallic bench under it. Not far away is a gazebo. Robots maintain the garden every day and do all of the yard work.
